On the outside, Jan’s life seemed perfect….in her words:
“Everyone saw a success story –
cheerleader, successful college student,
and eventually a successful
college professor, wife and mother.
They had no idea what I was doing
to sustain the image of perfection.”
Don’t those words sound familiar? I feel like I could say these words myself and I’m sure if you’re reading this you could, too. “They had no idea what I was doing to sustain the image of (fill in the blank).”
